Why does Gloviea use tempered mirror glass?
Safety is one of our top priorities.
Unlike standard mirror glass, tempered glass is significantly stronger and more impact-resistant. If broken, it shatters into small, blunt fragments rather than sharp shards, helping reduce the risk of injury.
What type of mirror glass is used?
Every Gloviea mirror uses premium 5mm tempered copper-free HD silver mirror glass for crystal-clear reflections, excellent durability, and superior corrosion resistance.
Why choose a copper-free mirror?

What is Backlit + Front Glow lighting?
Unlike traditional front-lit mirrors with visible LED strips, Gloviea places all LED strips behind the mirror.
Light shines through the precision frosted glass to create a soft Front Glow while simultaneously producing a beautiful Backlit halo around the mirror, producing bright, even, glare-free illumination.
Is this the same as a traditional front-lit mirror?
No.
Traditional front-lit mirrors place LED strips directly behind the front diffuser. Gloviea's Backlit + Front Glow design hides the LED strips behind the mirror, creating softer, more uniform lighting with a clean floating-light appearance.

Is the mirror bright enough for makeup and shaving?
Yes. The combination of Front Glow and Backlit lighting provides bright, even illumination that is ideal for makeup, shaving, skincare, and daily grooming.
Can the mirror be used as the primary bathroom light?
The mirror provides excellent task lighting for everyday use. For larger bathrooms, we recommend pairing it with ceiling lighting for full-room illumination.

Does the mirror have an anti-fog function?
Yes. Every mirror includes a built-in anti-fog pad that helps keep the mirror clear after hot showers.
Does the anti-fog function turn off automatically?
Yes. The anti-fog function automatically turns off after approximately one hour to help conserve energy.
Does the mirror remember my settings?
Yes. The built-in memory function restores your previous brightness and color temperature settings after power is restored.
Can the motion sensor be disabled?
Yes. Motion sensor models allow the sensor to be enabled or disabled whenever you prefer.
Installation
Is the mirror plug-in or hardwired?
Every Gloviea mirror supports both plug-in and hardwired installation for maximum flexibility.
Can the mirror be controlled by a wall switch?
Yes. The mirror is compatible with wall switch control and will restore your previous lighting settings using its memory function.
Can the mirror be mounted vertically or horizontally?
Most rectangular mirrors support both vertical and horizontal installation. Please refer to the product specifications for your selected model.
Is installation hardware included?
Yes. Every mirror includes a heavy-duty Z-bar mounting system, mounting hardware, and installation instructions.
Does the mirror include a power plug?
Yes. A standard power plug is included. It may also be removed by a qualified electrician for hardwired installation.
Can I install the mirror in a condo or rental home?
Yes. Many customers install Gloviea mirrors in condos, apartments, and rental properties. Depending on your preference, you can choose either plug-in or hardwired installation.
Daily Use & Care
Is the mirror waterproof?
The mirror is designed specifically for bathroom use and performs reliably in humid environments. However, it should not be installed where it is exposed to direct water spray unless the installation complies with local electrical and building codes.
Can I leave the mirror on all day?
Yes. The energy-efficient LED lighting is designed for extended daily use. Turning the mirror off when not in use will help maximize its lifespan and reduce energy consumption.
Can the LED lights be replaced?
The integrated LED lighting system is designed to last up to 50,000 hours and is not intended to be replaced during normal use.
Does the mirror include a safety film?
Yes. Every Gloviea mirror includes a protective safety film on the back of the glass. In the unlikely event of breakage, it helps hold broken pieces together, providing an additional layer of safety.
How should I clean the mirror?
